Prayers from Fatima

Fr Nick is this week on pilgrimage to Fatima with the Archbishop and 70 other pilgrims from the Archdiocese. Know that he will keep all of you in his prayers as he visits the sites associated with the child visionaries and asks for Our Lady’s prayers for all of you.

Parish Pilgrimage to Rome

Rome

Rome

We have had a great deal of interest in the proposed pilgrimage to Rome from 11-15 June to celebrate Patrick Harrigan’s ordination to the diaconate. There will be an information evening for all those interested – even those who didn’t put their name down – on Monday 30th October at 7pm in the Cathedral hall, where booking forms will be available. If you are unable to be at the meeting but would like a form, please be in touch with Sr Mary Cora at the office.

Parish Pilgrimage to Rome, 11-15th June 2018

As many of you will know, our own Patrick Harrigan will be ordained to the Diaconate next year on Wednesday 13th June. A number of people have asked if there will be a parish trip to Rome for the ordination and so we have been in touch with Alba Tours who have given us a quote of approx. £530 (B&B) for a 5 day pilgrimage staying in a hotel right next to St. Peter’s. Myself and Fr. Nick will definitely be going – so if you would like to join us and support Patrick at the wonderful moment in his life and in the life of the Diocese, please sign up on the list at the back of the Church. There is no commitment involved at this stage – but we need to have an indication of possible interest.
