Today’s Psalm

We are singing a modern version of today’s psalm.  Words are as follows –

Refrain  –  The Lord is my light, the Lord is my help.

Verse 1         The Lord is my light and my help,

Of whom then need I be afraid?

The strength in my life is the Lord,

Before whom should I ever tremble?

Verse 2          One thing I ask of the Lord:

to live with Him for evermore.

Lord, hear my voice, in mercy answer!

I seek you, dismiss not your servant.

Today’s Psalm

We are singing a modern version of today’s psalm. Words are as follows –

Response: Cry out to God in joy all the earth (Twice)
Give glory to the name of the Lord
Verse 1 Come and see the works of our Maker
How amazing His deeds on the earth!
He turned the sea into dry land
over dry land they passed through the sea
Verse 2 Let us bless the Lord, our God
Let the voice of God’s praise resound
the God who breathes in our being
who directed the steps of our way.
Verse 3 Come and hear, you who fear the Lord
as I tell how he rescued my soul
I cried to God and was answered,
God’s praise is ever on my lips
