Sacraments

Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and the Sacrament of Reconciliation will be held at 10.00am on Sat. 6 July 2014 in St. John’s.
Regular Sacrament of Reconciliation at St. John’s from 5.15pm till 5.45pm, before 6pm Vigil Mass every Saturday.

Clergy moves 2014

Fr. George has been appointed to become Parish Priest of the Holy Cross & St. Margaret Mary’s parishes from 7th Sept. 2014. Mgr Patrick Burke VG will be the Administrator and Fr. Victor Adigboluja a priest in residence in St. John the Baptist’s.

Fr. Jamie Boyle will become temporary Administrator of St. Andrew’s parish, Ravelston. The changes are announced on the Archdiocesan website. They can also be checked on the parish notice boards.

Fr. George is back in residence in Corstorphine but only to repack and leave for the summer break. Fr. Lukasz Dudkiewicz is supplying in St. John’s and St. Andrew’s parishes.

Peter’s Pence Second Collection

Peter’s Pence second collection: There will be a second collection this weekend Sat. 28th/ Sun. 29th June 2014, the Solemnity of Sts Peter and Paul, which is to help the Holy Father to respond to various requests received by him from all over the world.

Visit of Fr David Cullen (Missionaries of Africa/White Fathers) Sunday 22 June

Fr David Cullen, whose work in Zambia has been supported by parishioners, will be visiting St Andrew’s on Sunday 22 June. If you would like to catch up with him but are unable to go to coffee after Mass, please call Andrew and Rosemary Milligan on 337 1385. You would be welcome to pop in for a cup of tea at our house on Sunday afternoon.
