Rosary Beads Wanted
The Apostleship of the Sea, the Church’s maritime welfare agency, is often asked for Rosary beads by the sailors they meet. Do you have a spare set of beads? Please will you consider donating them to the sailors. So why not look out those many sets of Rosary beads you have hanging around and donate them to a worthy cause? You can do so – by handing them in to Fr. Jamie this weekend.

Volunteer Statistics
There were some questions about this at the AGM for which I didn’t have fresh figures to answer
Label | Number | Comment |
---|---|---|
Total Volunteers | 80 | |
Active Volunteers | 73 | |
Active Volunteer with PVG | 34 | |
Active Volunteers with PVG and training | 27 | |
Active Volunteers with PVG and no training | 7 | It’s possible that a few more people have had training and not let me know so this number might be smaller |
Active Volunteers in regulated roles without PVG | 0 | Preventing this is the point of the exercise |
Bear in mind also that some volunteers occupy multiple roles, some regulated, some not.
Thanks
